Hi, My name is Robert, I have always had a keen interest in wood working.
I started work as an apprentice cabinet maker in the caravan industry and whilst at college over 3 years I completed the City & Guilds Cabinet / Furniture making course.
Fast forward the years and a few jobs later I decided to set up “Yorkshire Woodworks” and started by making Oak wood plant stands from my garage, these soon became popular, and customers started asking me for custom sizes and bespoke made items.
I decided to move to a small workshop to continue making Oak plant stands and expand into making small to medium sized stand-alone handmade pieces from an array of different hardwood, softwood and sheet materials,
